  • Violence in the Workplace. Analysis of sudden, unplanned incidents of violence/active shooters; including the incident itself, the mindset and motivations of the “bad guy,” and tactics that potential victims can implement to increase their chances for survival.
  • Drugs in the Workplace. An employee with a drug problem can have a very negative impact, but an employee who has a loved one with a drug problem can have a much greater negative impact.
  • Training and Preparing Employees. Critical skills are required of your employees: how to recognize the signs of aggression and de-escalate the potential for a violent event. Do you believe your team already has the skills necessary? If so, think again.
  • Policy and Procedures. OSHA research shows that Workplace Violence is the #2 cause of death for men and #1 cause of death for women, in the workplace. Do your policies and procedures address today’s threats – acts of violence and active shooter incidents? Do your policies and procedures help individuals increase their chances for survival if the unthinkable should occur?Violence Insurance/Risk Mitigation Programs.  In response to the emerging risks of active shooter and workplace violence incidents, a new insurance market has arisen to cater to the needs of commercial enterprises facing this threat. Any business or building that allows open access to the public and attracts a high volume of foot traffic is exposed to the threat of a mass shooter. Disgruntled employees and unstable clients are just some of the types of potential risks.
